A man has been arrested after he was reportedly spotted with a gun in a quiet residential road.
Police were contacted just after 11.15am this morning (October 16) after a man claimed he saw another man with a gun in Kingsgate Road.
The suspect was said to have then fled in a car, before crashing minutes later in Buckley Road, near the junction with Streatley Road.
A man aged in his mid-20s was arrested on suspicion of driving and firearms offences.

A police cordon was pictured in Kingsgate Road and street closures have been in place while emergency services work at the scene.
