Drone footage shows how London’s newest railway station is nearing completion.
The video, which offers a bird’s eye view of Brent Cross West, is from footage by Galldris Services Limited, one of the contractors building the new streets and squares for the new town, and Related Argent.
It shows how passengers will leave the station down the escalators and staircase of the southern concourse into the new Brent Cross Town park town.
Viewers can also see the construction of new housing facing Claremont Park, the student accommodation near the retail park, and the Tilling Road car park, which provides parking for the amenities in and around Claremont Way.
Brent Cross West station is part of the housing and commercial development of the area that will provide access from Brent Cross Town to the rest of London and other areas.
It is being built by a Barnet Council-led development partnership, in association with Network Rail and Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) to serve the fast-growing area of Northwest London.
Thameslink will manage the new station and operate its services of up to eight trains per hour.
